Antimicrobial fogging

The finishing step that helps it stay gone.

After the mould is removed, a fine antimicrobial fog reaches the surfaces and air a cloth can't — treating spores left behind and giving a freshly remediated space the best chance to stay clean.

A treatment step — not a substitute for fixing the cause.
Why fog at all

Reaches what wiping can't

A fine mist settles into corners, vents and surfaces hands miss.

Treats lingering spores

Helps deal with what's left in the air after removal.

How fogging works

A treatment step, done the right way.

Fogging earns its place at the end of a job — once the mould and the moisture behind it have already been dealt with.

STEP 01

The cause is fixed first

Fogging is never a shortcut. We only reach this step once the mould has been removed and the moisture driving it has been addressed — otherwise it would just come back.

STEP 02

Prepare & protect

We make sure the area is dry and ready, cover anything that needs it, and confirm the space is empty of people and pets for the short treatment window.

STEP 03

Apply the fog

A fine antimicrobial mist is dispersed so it settles evenly across surfaces and into the air — reaching the corners, vents and gaps that wiping alone can't.

STEP 04

Settle & ventilate

The treatment is left to settle, then the space is ventilated. We let you know when it's ready to use again — usually the same day.

Honest about what it does

Fogging helps — but it doesn't replace fixing the cause.

Some companies sell fogging as a one-off "mould cure". It isn't. If the moisture problem stays, the mould comes back — fog or no fog. We use it as a finishing treatment after the real work is done, where it genuinely adds value.

If fogging won't help your situation, we'll tell you — and we won't charge you for something you don't need.

Family & pet-safe products

No harsh residue left behind once the area has dried and aired.

Used where it counts

A finishing step on a remediated space — not a stand-alone "fix".

Honest recommendation

We'll only suggest it when it actually improves the outcome.

Common questions

Good to know about fogging.

Straight answers — the same way we'd explain it on the phone.

Can fogging fix my mould on its own?
No — and we'd be wary of anyone who says it can. Fogging treats surfaces and the air, but if the moisture causing the mould isn't fixed, it'll come straight back. We use it as a finishing step after proper remediation, not instead of it.
Is the fog safe for my family and pets?
We use family and pet-safe products and keep the space empty during the short treatment window. Once it's settled and aired, there's no harsh residue. We'll always explain what we're using and when it's safe to return.
How long until I can use the room again?
Usually the same day. After the fog has settled and the space has been ventilated, we'll let you know it's ready. We'll give you a clear time on the day so there's no guessing.
Do I always need fogging?
No. Plenty of jobs don't need it at all. We'll only recommend fogging where it genuinely improves the outcome — and we won't add it to your quote just to pad the bill.
Does it come with the inspection?
It starts with an inspection. That tells us the real cause and whether fogging is worthwhile for your situation. If it is, it's set out in your written proposal with clear pricing before anything goes ahead.
